Rajesh Sreenivasan is a Partner at Rajah and Tann's iTec Practice Group. He has been advising state governments, multinational corporations, government-linked companies, and statutory boards on matters relating to telecommunications, electronic commerce, IT contracts, digital forensics, and digital media for over 10 years. He has facilitated a pan-ASEAN forum on legislative and regulatory reforms; assisted the telecoms regulator in formulating Brunei's telecoms licensing regime; reviewed IT legislation in Mongolia for the World Bank; led an e-commerce legislative benchmarking exercise involving over 20 East Asian and Pacific nations; and assisted in eASEAN advisory matters. He has helped the Ministry overseeing ICT in the Kingdom of Lesotho, Africa to draft its ICT legislation, and he has advised state authorities in Fiji and Canada on regulatory compliance and statutory interpretation matters, as well as leading organizations in Malaysia and Indonesia in drafting and negotiating complex IT procurement contracts and outsourcing arrangements. Rajesh has also written articles and book chapters highlighting the interplay between IT and the law. He is listed in the Guide to the World's Leading Technology, Media and Telecoms Lawyers 2002 Edition. He is also listed as a leading lawyer in telecoms by Global Counsel and the International Who's Who of Telecommunications Lawyers, and as a leading practitioner in IT, telecoms, and biotechnology law in The Legal Who's Who Singapore 2003.
